Our journey with Kayden Joy has certainly been a roller coaster, and if you have a special needs child, you know the ride.  Some days you can’t believe how blessed you are to be raising your angel, and other days you white knuckle your way through the minutes hoping to make it through somewhat unscathed.

But where do you go for support on the “white knuckle” days?  What do you need for your own wellbeing as the parent of your special needs child?

Here’s what we believe about parents of special needs kids:

  • We believe that parents of special needs kids deserve to live happy, full lives.
  • We believe that parents of special needs kids deserve to have deep, fulfilling connections with people who know the struggle and can lend support.
  • And most of all, we believe that emotionally healthy parents equal happy children.

Our story is no more special than yours, and our hope is that you will join us on this journey to create a community of parents who TRULY understand the struggles and the joy of having a child with special needs.

We don’t have the answers.  We aren’t here to answer medical questions or fix emotional hurts.  We are here for this purpose…To create a community of special parents that can help and encourage each other on the journey of raising children with special needs. We know how it feels to think you are the only person in this struggle.  You are not alone, and more importantly, there is a community of people who truly understand your daily struggles and victories!

We want to be a resource, a community of conversation, thought, encouragement, and celebration of life. We want you to participate in this community of hundreds, if not thousands of parents, just like you!  We value your experiences, your thoughts, and your life!
